25 years. 150 buildings.
One architect, start to finish.
No commitment. Just a conversation about what's possible.
My style starts with listening.
Then it becomes architecture.
Most firms hand you off after the pitch.
I never leave the room.
I've been designing custom homes, commercial spaces, and multi-family buildings across Michigan for twenty-five years, from lakefront retreats in Charlevoix to corporate headquarters in metro Detroit and modern residences in Rochester Hills, Birmingham, and Bloomfield Hills. Long enough to know that the best architecture doesn't come from bigger teams or fancier software. It comes from one person who understands the whole picture, and won't let any detail slip.
Every call. Every meeting. Every site visit at 7 a.m. when the flashing details matter and nobody else wants to argue about them. That's me. That's the practice.
I'm selective about what I take on. When it's the right fit, you get someone who treats your project like it's the only one, because most of the time, it nearly is.
We hired Roger to capture our vision for our dream home and couldn’t be happier. He didn’t just hand over design drawings and disappear. He stayed with the project through its entirety, which makes it a much smoother process.
We hired Roger to plan the redesign of an existing 5,000 square foot facility for a corporate headquarters. He listened to our parameters, goals and needs and translated those into a facility perfectly suited to our purposes.
Thanks to Roger’s vision, we achieved the contemporary look and feel we desired for our vacation home. He was timely, accessible, and put us at ease immediately. He listened to our rough thoughts and came back with ideas with the enthusiasm as if he were building his own home.
