I take a different approach than most ‘architects’ out there
I will not hand you off to a junior partner or intern after our first couple of meetings. I limit the number of clients I work with at any one time so you always know you will work with me exclusively.
I don't believe in jumping right into the design phase. Instead, I focus on understanding all of the project parameters including the clients needs and wants. Get this right first, and then the rest of the project flows from there.
I know you have a lot of choices in who you work with, so I know I have to earn your trust. If you're curious, here is a little bit about me.
I am a registered architect. I am a proud graduate of De La Salle Collegiate and I hold two degrees from the University of Michigan. I am the happily married father of four great kids. I am an avid Detroit and Michigan sports fan and most weekends can be found at my children's travel basketball, volleyball, or soccer games. My daughter plays volleyball at the University of Alabama, Roll Tide!
I love talking about Bitcoin, and I love music. You will normally catch me listening to Bitcoin podcasts, Sirius XMU, Alt Nation, or The Spectrum.
I started Roger J. Berent Architects in 2007. Over 17 years later, I am still cranking away and enjoying every minute of it.
I don't get caught up in the pretentious architecture stuff. I pride myself on being flexible and available. I love utilizing technology and keeping things streamlined and simple for everyone involved. I work tirelessly to meet your goals.
